Oracle 11g New Features
This session provides an overview of important new features in Oracle 11g. The discussion begins with performance enhancements, including improved analysis of Wait Events, a new invisible index feature and caching of SQL statement results. In the next session we will cover Database Replay, which allows the capture of a production workflow for testing on a testing server and Oracle 11g's simplified PL/SQL code compiling, which also eliminates the need for a C compiler allowing it to be used on Windows platforms.
