Class Description:

This hands-on class will give you a practical introduction to upgrading to Oracle 10g and to approximately 100 new administrative-related enhancements and features available with Oracle 10g. Both Release 1 and Release 2 of Oracle 10g are covered. In addition to DBA-related features, this training includes an overview of more than 25 SQL and PL/SQL enhancements offered with Oracle 10g.

The primary objective of this training is to provide you with a solid understanding and intended purpose of a feature and an opportunity to practice implementing the feature. Limitations or known problems are included where applicable.

The 350+ page course book contains detailed, working examples and detailed yet concise explanations. More than 150 scripts are supplied with the course book. Solutions are provided for all workshops. We urge you to review the sample chapters.
