Class Description:
This hands-on class will give you a practical introduction to upgrading to Oracle 10g and to approximately 100 new administrative-related enhancements and features available with Oracle 10g. Both Release 1 and Release 2 of Oracle 10g are covered. In addition to DBA-related features, this training includes an overview of more than 25 SQL and PL/SQL enhancements offered with Oracle 10g.The primary objective of this training is to provide you with a solid understanding and intended purpose of a feature and an opportunity to practice implementing the feature. Limitations or known problems are included where applicable.The 350+ page course book contains detailed, working examples and detailed yet concise explanations. More than 150 scripts are supplied with the course book. Solutions are provided for all workshops.
