Oracle Resources
We would like to recommend the following materials:
Oracle Books:
Oracle SQL Loader by Jonathan Gennick, published by O'Reilly, ISBN 1-56592-948-9 Dave's Review - Jonathan Gennick is an outstanding technical writer. Good solid information written in concise style. |
Mastering Oracle SQL by Sanjay Mishra, ISBN 00-596-00632-2 Dave's Review - Though I only read the chapter on 10g support for Regular Expressions, it was an excellent source of information. Well written with good examples. |

expert one-on-one Oracle by Tom Kyte, Wrox publishing , ISN 1-861004-82-6 According to Dave Anderson: Simply put, the best book on Oracle I have ever read. However, it is not for the beginner just looking to get started with Oracle. It is not 9i compliant, but it is still a must as most information is still relevant. An absolute must. |
Effective Oracle by Design, by Tom Kyte, Oracle Press, ISBN 0-07-223065-7 Review by Dave Anderson: Another great book by Tom Kyte; a must have |

Beginning Oracle Programming by Sean Dillon, Tom Kyte, et al, Apress, ISBN 1590592867. According to Dave Anderson: "This book is worth a look since it is co-authored by the best Oracle author I've ever read, Tom Kyte." |
Oracle9i: The Complete Reference by George Koch & Kevin Loney, Osborne McGraw-Hill, ISBN: 0072225211 |
